Malaysia welcomes Libya's new interim government

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov. 25 (Xinhua) -- The Malaysian government welcomed Libya's new cabinet on Friday, saying it is looking forward to a close cooperation with the interim government.
After several delays, Libya's Transitional National Council ( NTC) announced the lineup of the country's new cabinet on Tuesday, which sworn in two days later.
The Malaysian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Malaysia hopes the interim government, lead by Prime Minister Abdel Rahim el-Keeb, would be instrumental in steering Libya towards a path of continued peace, stability and democracy.
Malaysia looks forward to working closely with Libya's interim government and establishing a closer bilateral relation, said the statement.
